This Bud's for you

As I sit waiting to go to work I dread the thought.  Don't get me wrong I love my job, I just hate the trash it produces.  Bar tending can be a very lucrative job, but being a "tree hugger" it is disturbing to see the amount of glass not being recycled.  On a daily basis we throw away around 3 55 gallon drums full of bottles and cans and this got me wondering why Budweiser doesn't recycle them for later use.  I live in an area where there is a bar on every corner, and all have bottles and cans they throw away on a daily basis.  Can you imagine the difference it would make if Budweiser would set up a recycling program?  It would be an enormous impact and something they could be proud of and promote at the same time.  It is a win, win situation for both the bar owners and the distributors.  So here is how you can help, I say we start a phone campaign to Anheuser-Busch and demand they start a recycling program for their discarded bottles and cans.  Here is how to call 1-800-Dial-Bud.  I will keep you updated as to my advancement on this in future posts.
